cotto was in the best shape EVER!!! his new coach fixed cotto's stamina problem. he didnt gas out in the later rounds like he used to. cotto took on the best in the game and won new fans and the respect of nay sayers. and floyd would kill the human mummy margs.

Lol either your a cotto fan or puertorican that cant clearly see cotto has the same stamina problem. Of course he wasnt as faded down the stretch cause what pressure did pbf put on him?? You saw the 12 when pbf went at him how he was ready to go down??? Imagine canelo kirkland even angula with the right mentally he would take a knee pressure fighters are cottos problem and he needs to stay away from that

that is stunned, no rocked, no concussed but stunned..

when you get stopped in your tracks, have to readjust your mind for a second or physically get your legs buckled of stretched then you are stunned.

floyd stunned cotto a few times before the 12th....
i agree. so JMM stunned pac a lot of times in the last fight they had. i mean all the pac fans talking about how cotto gave floyd hell and how pac beat cotto. well JMM gave pac hell even though pac made JMM move up to welter wt.pac though because jmm looked bad v floyd he would have an easier time. pac fans even said (******ly) pac would ko JMM in the 1st rd and how jmm would be going to the hospital after the fight. well jmm not only didnt get ko'd. he won the fight. so floyd should and will destroy pac. if his daddy arum ever lets him get off the porch and fight.

You have to give Floyd credit. He said he wanted the best version of Cotto and he got it, even went up a weight class to get it.
Oh come on guys. The Cotto that beat Mosley was very clearly better than the one last night.

And frankly I think that Cotto was more damaged after Pacquiao than he was before. Just because he put on a better performance against a guy who was a better style matchup for him doesnt mean hes had some sort of super upgrade.

His defense didnt change at all, its the same as ever, and still has the same weaknesses.

I hate sounding like a negative nancy, because I really enjoyed and appreciated his effort last night. But theres a strange amount of delusion happening regarding Cotto.

i disagree. in previous fights cotto was fading badly by the 8th rd. in this fight v the best in the game he held his own. i thought by the 6th rd it would be the typical floyd fight, floyd looking good beating his foe while in no danger. but cotto came to fight and has never looked better imo. i am a cotto fan. i am a black man and i am a huge fan of floyd. i give credit where credit is due. no one except one trainer said this would be a tough close fight. most thought floyd would beat on cotto like a drum. good fight all around.

negative nancy, hahahahahahahahahaha!!! come on steak shane is so easy to hit. he wants you to swing so he can open up on you. and shane has an iron chin so he can fight in such a manner. imo this cotto was an upgrade from before he silenced a lot of nay sayers. gotta give him credit he performed better than expected.

Actually Floyd fought toe to toe like he said he would to make it exciting. Re-watch the last rounds where Floyd decided to box and move due to taking more shots than expected. Floyd gave the fans exactly what they wanted. Cotto was a warrior and came to fight.

Props to Floyd and Cotto. It was one hell of a show but disappointed in Cotto as I was Hopkins for being sore losers and leaving the ring.
