well there is no reason for me to shut the **** up in a forum of discussion of boxing...

floyd won clearly in a tough performance and the next matchup we all want is pacman.

it is natural for fight fans to speak and speculate about matchups especially with the two best fighters of the last ten years...

why do i have to shut the **** up?

why do you have to even comment on my posts?

why not have some value and respect

HAHAHAHAHA well that says alot about mayweathers opposition over the yrs if a washed up cotto is his best fight ever !!!!!!!! he barley even wobbled cotto , but when manny started touching cotto he reacted like he was shot with a shot gun or cannon !!!!!!!! and heres the thing mayfeathers disgusting fans claimed cotto was washed up back then when manny fighted and annialated him !!!!! so what does that make cotto now 4 yrs later ????!!!!!!! this fight shows you exactly why the pac fight hasnt happened yet !!!!!!!! floyd is scared

pac beat cotto like a drum and no he wasnt weight drained

the fight before pac cotto weighed in at 146 under the 147 limit so one less

lb was not a struggle for him, he is still quoted as saying it wasnt a problem

pac gives floyd at 35 hell..

he HELD A LOT against cotto and was stationary quite a bit... more than i

          have seen him
1st of all Cotto was drained for the Pacquiao fight & his weight was 145lbs(that was the catch weight they signed for)not 146 & Cotto only fought & gave Pac a fight for the first 4 rounds, after that he just got pummeled..Yet in those 4 rounds Cotto did WAY MORE damage to Pacquiao than what Margarito, Mosley & Clottey did to Pac in 36 rounds..If u doubt that, just look at the post fight pics of Pacquiao against Cotto & then look at the post fight pics against the other guys I mentioned. That's the reason Pac denied Cotto a rematch fight at 150lbs(the weight Pac fought & pummeled Margacheato). Now u forget that Pac fought Marquéz 3 times in 3 different weight classes(feather, jr lightweight & welter) & ALL 3 TIMES Marquéz gave Pac hell & I thought Marquéz got robbed all 3 times & yet Floyd toyed & beat Marquéz EASILY, it wasn't even any comp for Floyd. It was more like a tune up fight for Floyd..Floyd will beat Pac EVEN EASIER & that's way Arum doesn't want to make that fight!!

This was my scorecard. I think the Vegas judges were a bit biased towards Mayweather, as Cotto on 3-4 and hat at least another close round...

But whatever, everyone saw a good fight and he gave a good account of himself.

Cong**** to both Mayweather and Cotto! I've always labeled Floyd as a superior technician but he showed some grit and toughness as well. He also carried some pop into the later rounds and never got on that evasive bicycle type of defense. Still not sure if Floyd's willingness to stand his ground and trade is a change of style or his legs slowly fading away. Wish Cotto would've pressed harder in the championship rounds but it looked like he lost some stamina at the end of the fight. Anyways, Cotto put a great effort in an entertaining bout, hopefully he can still compete with the 2nd tier of the upper level fighters. He's had his chance against top dawgs and clearly is not on that top level any longer, but, still has some lucrative matches to be made.

I can't rememer the last time someone genuinely came to beat Floyd. I mean guys always think they will win but Cotto BROUGHT IT he hd a 100% belief in himself that he would be the first to beat Floyd. He's still got alot left.

The current Cotto is better than the one that fought Pac. I say this for a few reasons:
                      1) He wasn't drained
                      2) He was allowed to hydrate
                      3) He is physically stronger
                      4) A much tighter defense
                      5) His stamina/conditioning was the best I've ever seen from him

You have to give Floyd credit. He said he wanted the best version of Cotto and he got it, even went up a weight class to get it.
