If people want to compare the Pac vs Cotto to this fight, as if thats an argument. I'll help them. Marquez won against Pacquiao in their 3rd bout. Mayweather beat Marquez by a long shot, AFTER a 18 month layoff #Justsaying. Mayweather fought Cotto in a different way. Instead of hitting and dodging and getting his opponent frustrated. He chose to stand right in front of him and go. The fact that he still was as successful and win almost every round, while landing more power punches says a lot about May's skills. If he would of fought Cotto the same way he normally fights, he would've knocked him out...

I dont think he could have boxed. It was quite clear to any one that Floyd's legs are starting to go similar to Ali later in his career. He is 35 years old and can no longer dance around the ring for 12 rounds. Last night showed us a preview of his next few fights, boxing for a few rounds then leaning on the ropes to preserve his legs. All in all great fight though and the best i've seen Floyd in for years.

Bwahahaha. What fight were you watching? From what I saw, Floyd's face was a bloody mess. Are you saying that Floyd all of a sudden changed his tune about trying not get hurt in the ring, and just expose himself to be beaten by Cotto? "gave the fans a great night of boxing"? WTF? He said he doesn't care about the fans, and Floyd come first, and his health is most important. Clearly Cotto exposed him. Manny will beat Floyd to a bloody pulp fool. Cotto looks like he can attend the prom after fight. Do you remember how he looked after Manny beat him to submission? Manny will kill Floyd if they fight. Now I know why Floyd is making all these excuses about OSDT and 50/50. If I was Floyd, I would be making more excuses than that just to avoid being thrown in the ring with Manny.

Floyd is there for the taking hes matchmaking his survival......
Your an idiot , drained fighters are easy to beat strong fighters are not so easy , Pac ducked this version of Cotto , Oscar Margo and Cotto all beat Manny without their draining CWs .

Floyd will school Manny so easy you will go into hibernation .

Looks like Floyd had a real hard night .lol

Excellent fight worth every dollar of ppv I have to admit cotto showed me a lot man he came to fight I think floyd thought he could've taken cotto out later but after taking floyd's shots and cotto wasn't goin anywhere discouraged floyd a bit and floyd takin them shots on the ropes really built cotto'ss confidence tell you what cotto is a force to be reckoned with at 154 maybe kirkland or angulo next?

Imagine if he's fighting pac? Now i understand why he always said that he's health always comes first when talking about pac.

Fair play to Cotto and Mayweather. Entertaining fight!
Surprised at how Cotto managed to land the jab almost at will. Makes you think a guy like Amir Khan with a better jab, longer reach, faster hands, faster feet and in his prime might be able to take 6+ rounds from Mayweather. He's gotta out box Peterson and show some ring IQ first but that would be an interesting fight.

Pac is not 154 Cotto , huge difference in power and strength , Floyd will have an easy night with Pac , this was always going to be a tougher fight because of the weight and Cotto has a real trainer , no wonder Manny wants no part of this Cotto he is a country mile away from the 145 bonehead version .
