Watch the fight without the commentary. Floyd never dominated the fight aside from 2-3 rounds that he clearly won. He hit Cotto with only 26% of his punches and had trouble landing the right hand.
I did bro and to add to that, I had to take care of my crying son. So yea, the commentary didn't sway me. And to say that Floyd clearly only won 2-3 rounds is frightening. So I'm going to bed.
3 rounds, you have to be very generous to Cotto and give him the benefit of every doubt, to give him 4 IMO. I just can't see how he got 5, I disagree with Cliff Rold with that one all day.
It was every similar to Floyd-Oscar. Just this was more entertaining. But, it was that decisive of a victory.
Strangely, everything going into the fight to how competitive it was/wasn't and I think people belief of what both Oscar and Cotto have left post fight is eerie similar.
9-3 mayweather Cotto did a lot better than I thought he would, he showed more heart than he ever did and he came to win unlike he did against Pacquaio.
Honestly I found both events quite similar. But, I was more entertained tonight though. And, more pleased with both Floyd and Cotto performances than I was with the Oscar fight.
