You say Cotto won by activity? How? If mayweather threw more and landed more then who was more active?

Fights are scored by rounds. I gave Cotto the first 3 rounds already and not much was happening in those rounds. However Cotto pressed the action and landed a little more. We know that Cotto needed a knockout to win anyways, there was no way they were going to give that to him.

The crowd obviously thought the wrong guy won.

Floyd toyed with Cotto. Pleasing the Crowd. He could have taken Cotto out plenty times throughout the fight but decided to play up the crowd

I am a big fan of Cotto and was rooting for him tonight, and he performed with a lot of heart and did a great job. I gave 3-4 rounds for him the first time I watched it, but I'll watch it again with no commentary and see what's up. But no, the way I saw it, Floyd won this fight for sure.

The only problem I would have if I were Cotto would be the wide-ass margin by which Floyd won on the judges' scorecards. Sort of a slap in the face for a guy who just fought his ass off and did a lot better than anyone imagined he would. But who knows, maybe Miguel felt he won. I wish he had stuck around to do an interview.
