Don't worry, Cotto fought well but was outclassed by Floyd like we all expected. Now let's see Cotto vs Canelo.

Mosley took the last 3-4 rounds and you could have given him plenty of the earlier rounds simply because he was the one who made the fight, brought it to Canelo, and was the more active fighter the whole time. Sorry, lethargy and fighting in spots doesn't win a fight in my book. This was supposed to be the great world beater Saul Alvarez? I think if anything we've seen that this guy is over rated and that his 40 wins amount to a hill of beans. If Mosley wasn't forcing the action there wouldn't have been a ****ing fight with the way Canelo kept running away. It was pathetic. I'd give it to Mosley on principle alone, he did more to win this fight than Alvarez, but you can't let the rising star lose. Another phoned in decision that was never going to go the other way, Mosley was robbed. He took a lot of damage and kept bringing it to Alvarez, he's just not a 154lb'er and so the power to lay him out wasn't there, but he was landing a lot of good shots on Alvarez all through the fight, especially towards the end in the championship rounds where he showed what being a real fighter is all about. Robbery at it finest tonight between this and Cotto.
really???? ur a ****n idiot!!!!! ur a dumbass period!!!!!

Shane is certainly way, way past his prime, but Canelo looked pretty decent in there. He's not ready for a huge fight, no way. But he's steadily making some improvements to his game and I think if he's given a few more decent fights, he'll show us even more of what he can become.

As for Mosley, that was a hard fight to watch considering he's a personal favorite warrior. Still, he came there with the intention of giving it his all. That I was pretty sure of even before the fight - he really seemed like he wanted it, and in the ring he proved that he did. He just didn't have the reflexes, the speed, or the power (semi-surprisingly) to make anything happen. I really hope the guy hangs them up. He's a legend, and obviously one tough son of a ***** to this day. But he needs to get out of there and start the rest of his life.

Plus, this is a much better way actually to end his career. Rather than a non-fight with Pacquiao, he actually gave it his all in a final fight with a future star and didn't embarrass himself. He gave it his all and didn't get knocked out or even knocked down. I don't think he should be embarrassed. We all know what prime Mosley would have done in there, he just needed this fight to see the difference for himself.
good post, now i can see your a real boxing fan like my self.
