Mosley was coming of a great win against Margarito when he fought Floyd, now he faced coming of 2 defeats and 1 draw, with 0 victories in almost 4 years.

Mosley is clearly past it but the man is still very tough. He's a legend and fought a hard fight but to NOT be impressed by Canelo is ******.

Canelo looked sharp, fast, quick and very powerful. His defense is the aspect of his game that is most improved.

14 actually, and he still was coming of a victory over Margarito. Mosley obviously wasn't at his prime anymore, but he was still a lot better than right now.

I'm a big Mosley fan, and I even considered the idea that Shane would shock us all again against a more stationary target like Canelo. Shane is certainly way, way past his prime, but Canelo looked pretty decent in there. He's not ready for a huge fight, no way. But he's steadily making some improvements to his game and I think if he's given a few more decent fights, he'll show us even more of what he can become.

As for Mosley, that was a hard fight to watch considering he's a personal favorite warrior. Still, he came there with the intention of giving it his all. That I was pretty sure of even before the fight - he really seemed like he wanted it, and in the ring he proved that he did. He just didn't have the reflexes, the speed, or the power (semi-surprisingly) to make anything happen. I really hope the guy hangs them up. He's a legend, and obviously one tough son of a ***** to this day. But he needs to get out of there and start the rest of his life.

Plus, this is a much better way actually to end his career. Rather than a non-fight with Pacquiao, he actually gave it his all in a final fight with a future star and didn't embarrass himself. He gave it his all and didn't get knocked out or even knocked down. I don't think he should be embarrassed. We all know what prime Mosley would have done in there, he just needed this fight to see the difference for himself.

              Lol @ the Canelo haters.

              espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7895485/canelo-alvarez-crushes-shane-mosley-decision

Alvarez (40-0-1, 29 KOs) repeatedly rocked Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KOs) with shots, landing 348 of 673 punches (52 percent). Mosley couldn't get away from even looping right hands. It was the most blows landed on Mosley in the 34 of his fights that CompuBox has tracked.

Mosley managed to land 183 of 745 punches (25 percent), according to CompuBox

Here comes the niñita right on cue sweating me as usual.

First off, Mosley doesn't get knocked out by anyone.

Second, Mosley is done but Canelo dominated him in a way nobody expected. I thought he would win but he wasn't touched by Mosley in this fight.

He impressed, stop hating on every Mexican you see fight because your so terrified of them and grow the *** up.

Neither has anyone in Mosley's career.

Canelo is legit outside his ***** catchweights he had earlier in his career.
