The height won't, but the reach will. As i said, i really think that the only punch Cotto is going to land on Floyd in spots is the jab. Floyd has the ability to measure his opponents punching range, and he's going to neutralize Cotto's most effective punches with the exception of Cotto's jab.

Regardless if the jab lands or not, it is fairly effective in itself at neutralizing offense, aswell as getting 'in the strike zone'. Floyd is good a measuring opponents, but like miguel said earlier, floyd hasnt fought anybody like him. Every single person that cotto has fought has said the same thing, he's deceptively fast, is crazy good at getting in and out of range, and every punch hurts like a mofo.

I really dont see mayweathers reach being too much of a factor, just as mosleys even longer reach wasnt a big factor. Sure, he'll land a couple shots because of it, but for the most part, exchanges are going to be happening.
