Floyd at 147 isn't all that great. Imo Hearns at 147 has to be a sure pick to beat Floyd. Leonard has to be another one. Duran and Whitaker should also be mentioned.
How many boxers around 130-147 would/could out box Floyd?

i hate doing these dream matches but ima join da club. mayweather is NOT beating hector camacho at 130-135. southpaw with the most ridiculous hand speed ive ever seen. the fastest man in boxing wen leonard retired. hector had soild pop kept u at bay at 130-135. even in the rosario bout, edwin was backing off at times he felt the sting. its unfounate hes remembered from wat he did from 1988 and on with da holding running and lackluster performances.wanabe fans or fans who took as punches as bobby chacon seem to forget how nasty he was from 1980-86,87 just wowComment

Are you asking just about out boxing him or beating him anyway they can? For pure boxing Floyd is as good as they come. His perfect fighting weight is 140 in my opinion but he is still great at 147 and very good at 154. I don't rate Whitaker as high as some. Whitaker's defense, jab,and southpaw stance would bother Floyd but Floyd's better offense and speed would win this fight. At 147 Floyd's chin and power are still good but not as good as when he fought at lower weights. The welterweights that might beat him are all fast boxer-punchers. Leonard had a good combination of speed. skill and power and would have a good chance to beat Floyd. Robinson was more of a fast, hard combination puncher than a pure boxer. Robinson got hit alot. Still I think Robinson could win by KO. Hearns is my best Floyd beater because of his height and reach. Combine that with good boxing skills, great hand speed and the best jab and staight right of any welterweight and I see a KO for Hearns. Jose Napoles had the speed, skills, and power to be even money with Floyd. If Pacquiao beats him it would be with speed and power because Floyd is a far better boxer. I favor Trinidad to beat Floyd because he was bigger and stronger at 147 and his left hook was such an incredible punch. Felix had underrated boxing skills and a fast hard jab and right hand to go with the hook. He also was a great body puncher who never got tired in his prime. If Trinidad beat him it would be with power, not outboxing him.Probably no one could box better than Floyd.Comment

The only person 147 and below who absolutely, without a doubt beats Floyd is Thomas Hearns. Anyone else is up for debate.
SRR, Camacho, Cuevas, Chavez Sr., SRL, Duran, Pryor etc. all up for debate. Thomas Hearns walks through Floyd and stops him.Comment

That's for sure. If it had been a 12 round fight Hearns would have won on points by a good margin. It took Leonard alot of punches to get Hearns out of there. I don't think Floyd hits hard enough to KO Hearns without great risk to himself.Comment
