How many boxers around 130-147 would/could out box Floyd?

Thomas Hearns (147) - Given his height reach and jab, Floyd would have a hell of a job trying to get into this
    Sugar Ray Leonard (147) ?
    Sugar Ray Robinson (147) ?
    Pernell Whitaker?

        lol same

Anyway, I think Mayweather has trouble with the handspeed of Khan and Pacquiao.

          perhaps robinson could "outbox him"
i tend to doubt, though. i tend to doubt that he'd even try.

147 lb robinson is one of the greatest punchers ever with one of the best chins ever.
          fast hands
fast feet to close the gap

i think he'd try and "fuck floyd up," if you want to get technical.

at 147 i think burley might give him a run for his money with the boxing. burley could really punch and was a true slickster himself.

leonard's physical abilities and natural size would probably give him the advantages needed to outbox floyd. i dont think he has some insurmountable gap in skill that floyd couldn't handle. i dont think anybody does

mayweather is one of the greatest boxers i've ever seen. still, physical advantages that other large WW would possess (the great ones, obviously,) would be enough in my eyes for a select few to be able to outbox him

          would hearns or robinson?
no. i dont think so, even if their skills and physical make-up would lend itself to that. i think they'd go out there to back floyd up and try and beat up on him with combinations.

why box with this kid if you dont have to?
if he somehow hurts you there's always the option to box later on and use your size and the ring with your longer steps.

anybody is going to have "trouble" with that kind of handspeed

you dont get it from your sparring partners.

to say that he'll have "trouble" with amir khan to the point where it could lose him more than even a couple rounds is wrong. amir khan just lost to lamont flippin peterson. he went life and death with marcos maidana.
he had "trouble" with paul mccloskey
come now. prescott stretched him out

likewise with pacquiao. he's fast and powerful. faster than floyd will be used to seeing. but if those two ever fight you know damn well that manny is going to follow floyd around the ring all night eating counterpunches

If Floyd loses, he'd lose in a ****** fight. He'd have to be drawn in to a ****** brawl, trying to entertain the fans, against a better "fighter" than him.

As long as Floyd is counterpunchng, using tight D, and using his legs when he has to. He can't be outboxed. Not prime Floyd at least.

                  I think Hearns

People tend to forget he was handedly beating Leonard up until he gassed

Kid Gavilan would be a horrible assignment for Floyd.
