to me, this is an even fight. so if dawson says he can make 168, then lets have at it. its not like ward asked for the fight. dawson suggested both the fight and the weight. both are lineal champs and both are prime. this is not a drain'em situation someone is gonna have to give up their division unless they both do and its a catchweight. depends on who u think should.

Didnt ward say on another occasion he would go up in weight, and the smaller man should ALWAYS go up in weight, and Dawson just beat Hopkins, Ward should HAVE to come up in weight...Chad didnt know that Ward was willing to go up, but ward said he was willing, he needs to go up in weight...Chad just got a feather in his cap with the bhop win, and Im already dissapointed in Chad...Chad made mistakes by not training hard in the past, and I can already see him making this mistake before it happens....he thinks he can make 168, but he doesnt know for sure, because when was the last time he made 168?...your body changes each and every day, and he is perfectly solid, and strong...he;s gonna have unexpected problems making weight, I can already see it now...he's gonna walk in the ring a tall skinny stick man, with a glass jaw, and ward is gonna be the second man to knock out Paul Williams...oops I mean Chad dawson..lol

im neutral, idc which way it goes. i dont even care if its at a catchweight. this is an even fight no matter how u slice it. to me, the weight isnt gonna be the determining factor. this is not a case of one fighter trying to eek out every possible advantage over a fighter who they are clearly superior to. so if ward goes up, fine. if dawson comes down, fine. i like both fighters. but like i said, unless its at a catchweight, someone is giving their weight class up for the other.

Catchweight would make it even, neither guy is a big puncher, would be a boring chess match, maybe they should do it down the road after they clean out their divisions. Why are all these fighters jumping around weight, how about unifying the belts first.

Ward needs to go up, because its not natural for u to Beat Bhop, which is a cool feat, then someone else makes YOU go down in weight..Ward DID win that super 6, but still its natural for him to go up in weight...I like Ward, but he looked like a snake in that video!

in a year or two it is a good chance Ward will move up anyway, no need to rush it, these are two fighters in their Prime right now with plenty of years left
