Arum and Cotto were offered Mayweather several times, and Arum refused.

You can tell from the look on both Cotto and Hatton's faces at the Gatti fight that they didn't want any. Which is fine.

Part of boxing is choosing the right time to fight a guy. This is not the NFL where you MUST face the New England Patriots on Week 13.

In boxing, you work your time. Are you healthy? Did you give yourself enough time to fix a flaw or to work on an offensive move before you face a particular guy, etc.

Why do you think Pacquiao (tried to) wait until he faced Marquez a third time?
