A TV contract which culminated in his highest earning fight against Joe Calzaghe.

Yes, a three fight deal and would've extended his contract with King. He felt he was worth more. He was right. Wasn't like he was fighting Calzaghe next.

How was he worth more? He got more to fight Oscar 3/4 years but thats because he fought Oscar which wasn't even part of his decision. He was not worth the $6m he asked for to fight Calzaghe after AGREEING to fight for $3m. He bidded himself out.

I find it absolutely hilarious that you keep using a future fantasy fight against Oscar as a reason why he rejected GUARANTEED MONEY to fight Calzaghe. Absolutely hilarious.

He felt he was worth more than what the Showtime contract offered. He was proven right, whether you like it or not. And he didn't want to extend with King for the amount offered. Whether you like it or not, he was right there too.

He wasn't proven right. Did he make more than $3m for any single fight leading up to Oscar?

Whether you like it or not, without using hindsight, Bernard Hopkins rejected a career high guaranteed purse to fight Calzaghe. I know it eats away at your very soul but thats the truth.

Yeah, for Robert Allen he made close to $5mil. $4m for Joppy.
