Reid got robbed, noway did Calzaghe win that fight for absolute ****. It was on par with Reid getting robbed against Ottke.

Lets not forget only 12 months previous, a 42yr old extremely faded Malinga beat Robin Reid to a pulp.

    Calzaghes resume is a joke.
Going by his standards all Canelo needs to do is sc**** by Mosleys ghost & another old-timer who is a decade passed it and it will make him an ATG!
    40 odd & 0!

Robin Reid: "I can't argue with the decision. Joe was the better boxer on the night and I knew I could not catch him for speed."

It's another myth, it was a close fought fight but 7-5 in favour of JC on the cards is about right, and besides every fighter is allowed one close fight!

He did not beat reid to a pulp, did u watch it? Malinga only won by a point (2 at the most) It was a crap fight and it was more down to reid having an off day more than malinga's superiority...He made up for it with his demolition of nardiello who beat malinga.

Calzaghe clearly beat reid. It was that same idiot judge Paul Thomas who scored Chambers-Dimitrenko as a draw, that scored Reid-Calzaghe for Reid. The two American judges scored it for Joe. There should be no controversy about it.

Robin Reid back then was a world-class operator. That is just fact. People only look at fighters as a sum of all their efforts, but Reid was at his absolute peak and was driven by a devastating loss, this was Reid's big chance to achieve and he went balls out. That reid would be a handful for anyone...but even he admits he didnt win.

Calzaghe was great. Lot of heart. Would not get dissuaded. Can't get into his head.
