    Rematch clause?

Would you guys say it is safe to assume Floyd has a rematch clause if he looses? Image if he lost then had to go to jail for 60 days.

If the fight is close i would expect a rematch. What if they do it in Madison Square where Floyd never fought?

They should, that means no Xylocaine for Floyd. Margarito should have had one of these for the tie breaker.

They won't, and there is undoubtedly a rematch clause - Mayweather is the most cautious and arguably the smartest fighter in the sport.

            *in the ring*

With that said, id expect an automatic rematch clause on mayweathers part. Standard stuff.

Of course theres a rematch clause. Floyd doesn't have the confidence that hes gonna win so he has to get one.

He even had one for the Ortiz fight lmao

outside of it too (with respect to boxing that is, putting ********/assault etc. to one side)

I remember Floyd once talking about beating someone decisively the first time, so that there's no need for a rematch. If Floyd is at 100% and Cotto beats him legitimately, idk if we will see a rematch, cuz it means Cotto's the better fighter. Floyd will most likely want to avenge the fight, and Cotto would oblige because of all the money on the line, but I think deep down, Floyd would know that he has no right to ask for one.
