I havent seen anything of substance as far as an actual gameplan from Cotto's camp. Pedro Diaz's shadow boxing in the park training regimen seems gimmicky as ****. All I have heard from cotto is that he is bigger, has more power and think he will have more stamina than floyd from working harder. This has massive fail written all over of it. Floyd is going to be whooping that ass, especially in the late rounds. Cotto's own former trainer said cotto looked slow and wasnt focusing on speed enough. Good luck with trying to out stamina floyd, who never really quit training since his last camp.

They think floyd is all talk but he was the one who had arranged to train in boxing gyms at 2am in other cities during their press tour while cotto was sleeping.

They clearly want to keep their cards close to their chest. Do you really think Diaz looks like the kind of trainer who'd slack of on Cotto's training because he thinks Floyd might be all talk? Cotto's speed will be fine - he's not gonna be as fast as Floyd, but he can still win the fight as long as he's relatively quick.

I just hope Cotto has enough gas to last 6 rounds. I see Floyd putting on a straight clinic with a "no wind" Miguel.

Floyd isn't a pressure fighter so stamina isn't going to play quite as much of a role as it did in his losses to Pacquaio and Margarito. Margarito can throw up to 100 punches a round, whereas Mayweather throws 40-50 punches a round. Neither Cotto or Mayweather have fought anyone like the other before, so it should be interesting.

just to clarify, you do realize that floyd isn't tommy hearns? he's had 2 KOs in his last 7 fights(one of which was when his opponent was trying to apologize to him when he was hit). he won't ko cotto, martinez or pacquiao. he couldn't even ko baldomir ffs...

Whats gonna shock people is how strong floyd will be. He will pick Cotto apart easy.

Whats he suppose to say? We all know whats gonna happen sat night. Cotto face is gonna be swollen due to all the beatings he's taken over his career. It wont take much. Even one-legged Foreman managed to mark his face up. He'll win if he low blows though, like he did Judah. Once he loses, everyone will probably say something like: He beat pac leftovers, Cotto shot, needs a new trainer, etc....

Sometimes all of you Jr fans are being silly.

Who is the last elite welterweight that Jr has really slammed and beat down ? Can't be Hatton, he was blown up and Jr ran from him,,,can't be OLD ODH, he won that fight and was robbed of the decision but to top that he couldn't pull the trigger, meaning if he could he would have wiped the floor with JR.
