If anyone want to see where this claim originate from so Dunn doesnt backtrack any further here is the link

    http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...547327&page=11

end of page 11, and going onto page 12 and 13.

and like bojangles said, even entertaining the thought of this fight was nuthugging already, but to say he would be favored? Is a cry to check him into an insane asylum.

He'll be outweighed by 30 pounds, either fighter is not only big but fast and hard hitting, with very good boxing skills, but you actually think Floyd has a chance. That's nuthugging to the highest degree.

Floyd would get shaken by any clean punch these two landed, let alone a good shot on the chin or to the body of any kind.
NO Bojangles. I said floyd would be the betting favorite against anyone from 147-168 except ward at 166and sergio at 160 as an example of why floyd was "special" to poster godfr33. At no point did I say or imply winning.

Feel free to check the other thread. I even clarified prior to oxn making this thread.

You just said in a post that Floyd would neutralize the size advantage with his skills. No he wouldn't. You are clearly entertaining the idea that Floyd could beat Bute and Dirrell, and that's an incredible amount of nuthugging.

Floyd would not be favored against Bute or Dirrell, two very big, very fast, very hard hitting fighters with plenty of skills. You brought up Roy vs. Ruiz, which is a terrible example.

I remember a thread not too long ago which brought up a Mayweather vs. Chavez fantasy fight. Floyd would probably be the "betting favorite" against him and the lower-tiered guys at 160/168, but I definitely wouldn't feel confident in his chances. Floyd will be rendered ineffective if he travels up that far, wtf is Floyd's style gonna do to hold a guy like Chavez at bay for 12 rounds, cuz we KNOW he wouldn't knock him out. If I don't think he would beat Chavez, why would I believe that he could beat Bute/Dirrell/Rodriguez? Floyd isn't invincible, and I think we should stop acting like he is.

The guy clearly has no clue about the sport. LMAO there are weight classes for a reason. Floyd's optimum weight is at 147. And if you actually have boxed for real you would know that size still does matter especially if the big guy knows how to fight.

Read post #46. I referenced ruiz/rjj for the betting line only.

Say whatever you gotta say dude. Doesn't phase me. I believe floyd would be the favorite over Bute and dirrell going into the fight because he's better than Bute and dirrell isn't as experienced.
