    Yes,

can you do me a favor? Can you find 1 other sensible Floyd fan that agree what your outlandish claims?

Its outlandish to think going into the fight floyd would be even money with direll aat 168, sergio at 160, and favored to beat Bute and not favored to beat Ward at 168?

Your problem is you equate favored going into the fight with the outcome of the fight.

        Nononono.

If Floyd is favored, then it should be easy to find someone that agrees with what you said.

You said outside of Ward, and Sergio, Floyd is favored against anyone else from 147-168.

Im sayin, NO he is not.

He is favored against Sergio, but not Ward and the other guys i mentioned in previous post.

To say that means you are more accomplished than Leonard? Duran? Hagler? Whitaker? Holyfield? Ali? I highly doubt that. See, Mr. Mayweather, in order to be mentioned in that company, you have to take risks; something you have never been willing to do upon leaving Arum. He had you on the path to greatness, but when you left him, you became a part-time fighter who cherry-picked your way to self-proclaimed greatness. In a time of economic struggle and declining sports heroes, humbleness goes a long way. That is why fighters like Cotto, De La Hoya, Trinidad, and Manny are globally loved by the fans. They didn't shoot down other fighters accomplishments, their work-ethic, make racial remarks, or accuse any other fighter of anything as crazy as steroid use without any proof; I hope this Saturday will be a humbling experience for you.
In my opinion, you have misinterpreted his stmt. Floyd stating he has dedicated himself to the sport or worked harder than anyone (or most anyone)..First and foremost is his opinion which he is entitled to and the comment actually holds some merit. That stmt does NOT mean he has accomplished more or he is more decorated than everyone. Ive heard him elude to this in other interviews where he is talking about the time, focus and preparation he has put into his career. He is always in excellent condition..Works out and trains year rd..Does not smoke, drink, over indulge in anything (with the exception of money) and does not allow his outside life to affect his performances in the ring. There have been a host of fighters who were talented champs but failed to get the most out of their careers because of lack of focus, dedication or otherwise (ie rid**** bowe, mike tyson..even sweet pea indulged in that "nose candy"). Lastly, every athlete cant be concerned with pleasing or being accepted by the masses. You have to live your life for yourself and your family and if people like you..great..If they dont..that's fine too but none of that will take away from what he accomplishes in that ring..and lets face it...When mayweather jr is done..He is a guaranteed hall of famer. People dont like him bc he is brash, co$ky, opinionated and dont give a damn. Well, those are some of the qualities that have made many so called great men..Great. Dude is a professional athlete..his job is to step in that ring and perform to the best of his ability. Being able to hand pick fights..Just means you have arrived financially bc every fighter you named has "cherry picked" an opponent at one time or another

Personally, I am a floyd fan, and I think I am pretty sensible, so I am going to disagree that floyd would be favored at 168 if he were to fight bute, the size difference is way too much. That is just a stretch and the fact that we have to discuss if floyd would or wouldnt be favored against a big super middle, just proves his greatness across multiple weight divisions, but no, I dont see him favored against Bute or Ward, against sergio, yes, and even against dirrel at 168 I wouldnt think he would be favored, at 160 dirrell, yes, but not at 168. i mean floyd came from 130 pounds for christs sakes, cant hold that against him...

                  • Of course your getting better. You aint shop worn cos you dont fight and u got all the time in the world to train.

Your legs havent gone as well, as noticed by roach. You deliberately trade punches with your opponents still not getting hit as you want to entertain people.

I was the poster who thinks he'd be favored against dirrell and bute at 168! I see your point and maybe its even money but I still think floyd would be favored going in.
