Can't we all agree that Floyd is still in his prime?

Physically he's past it, but It seems he hasn't stopped learning. Sort of like Hopkins so it tends to even out until of course his physical abilities are so diminished that his boxing knowledge/ring generalship cannot compensate. We'll see what he looks like May 5th but I think he still has some greats fights left in him.

I wouldn't say he's still in his prime but he's still the best.

I would say he's still prime, what has he shown you that makes anyone think differently.

Boxers age differently, DLH at 35 was done. Floyd at 35 shows no signs of slowing down.

Everyone is different, you can't put a number to that.

There is a visible enough drop that I'd say he is past his prime. Though in the Ortiz fight he looked damn close to prime again.

I think it's pretty visible. Just pop in any tape from 2000-2007 and you'll see a big difference between that Floyd and the version we watch today. Past his prime? Yes. Still elite? Definitely. Even smarter today? Absolutely.

Didnt see him enough against Ortiz.

We should all answer that in a week.
