Former WBO world title challenger Brian "The Beast" Minto (36-5) destroyed heavyweight Matt Hicks (13-7) Saturday night at the Mountaineer Casino and Resort. After Minto landed a devastating overhand right late in the initial stanza, the bout was halted at 2:48 of round one. The victory marks Minto's second win in his last 3 fights.
