The younger fans who didn't see his prime are going to remember him for holding every 5 seconds, going down off rabbit punches, faking low blows and flopping around the ring. Along with good things also, but, the fact is the new fans will remember these antics. Thus, it's tarnishing his legacy.
Hopkins did these things in his prime somewhat but no where near to this degree. The new guys will remember that as if his career was based off it.
Just how it is. Roy Jones is in a similar but different position with his chin.
