Fight was the candidate for "Most boring fight of the year so far" My 8 yr. asked me why I was watching such a boring fight!!! Lol, Hopkins needs to give it up and accept that he is too old to be doing this now. Dawson looked like terd as well I might add. Dude has no work ethic in the ring. Seems like he is content with just coasting through the rounds.

Fine different strokes. Some of us fans actually enjoy watching two skilled fighters who are smart enough to pick off haymakers and use counter punching as their primary tactic.

C'mon Nard! The one thing you never learned in boxing, how to accept a defeat. Last I checked you still have to throw punches and actually land them from time to time. Maybe I'm wrong but judges don't score for feints, clinching, showboating or head butts. If you had a corner that would have told it to you straight and not fill your ego with bull****, you would have realized you were losing the fight. Please save yourself some dignity and do not protest this decision, take the "L" like a man.

EXACTLY. Hopkins for an old man has got to be the poorest sport there is in boxing. Need we not acknowledge the "I need a breather" football tactics in the 11th round.

This SOB tried his DAMNDEST to frustrate Chad when he realized his boxing tactics weren't working and Chad didn't go for any of it.

Hopkins did good exposing Dawson's lack of a left hand. It's not to say Dawson doesn't have a good left, because when he was with Sr. and Stewart Dawson put a lot of authority in his left hand. But because of Dawson's talent and skills, Dawson was able to win convincingly.

Hopkins didn't expose ****. He would clinch Dawsons right hand then headbutt on the left hand side while ripping punches in the clinch with his free hand. Dawson had no choice but to protect himself with the left. Hopkins fights without fouling he gets knocked down or maybe stopped.

Hopkins act has gone stale almost rotted. Boxing needs a fresher look with new faces and a younger look. Hopkins was like Joe paterno staying on too long. Fade away angry man Hopkins retire.

I was cheering for B-Hop last night, but there is no way he won that fight. I gave him the first couple of rounds but the longer the fight went on the more comfortable Dawson seemed to be.

But even though he lost B-Hop deserves mad props. How many 48 year olds do you know who could make a close fight against a World class opponent who is 20 years younger?

Dawson won the fight and everyone knows it. Hopefully Hopkins will have people around him to tell him the truth and he can stop with these ridiculous robbery claims. Considering his age Hopkins didnt embarrass himself and should just accept the loss.

I've been watching Hopkins long enough to know that this was his plan all along. He figured he'd get out of the first fight because Dawson was hitting him too cleanly and he didn't have enough survival tactics, plus he'd figure he could get 2 pay days out of it. Call me crazy, but i don't think he came to win last night. I think he wanted to be sneaky, do his usual rough/slick stuff just to make the fight close and then cry robbery after the fight. Hes a smart man, i give him that.
