I'm fairly sure it was because Witherspoon was sitting on the ropes.

        Mitchell needs world class trainers

To take the next big step doesn't Mitchell need a world class trainer to teach how to become great??? Not sure but it seems a great trainer provides championship instinct and talent.

I was thoroughly impressed with Mitchel. He has exactly what heavyweight boxing needs. Thats the ability to go to the body. There are no heavyweights besides him that seem to realize the importance of body shots. If you stand 6-2 fighting the Klithcko's & all you do is head hunt, expect yourself to be jabbed to death followed by right hands from tall men that fight tall.

Mitchel is being brought along the correct way, (especially for a fighter with no amateur experience). Steadily better comp, who are providing much needed experience. He showed excellent resiliency in the 1st & put in the work downstairs to pull the come back. Good fight.

Don't you think that Chazz's power may be a little suspect? That is, when you take into consideration the fact that, excluding Thompson and Arreola, his last ten opponents had a combined 93 loses and had been stopped 70 times within the distance. And all I can say about Mitchell is that I hope he was a better football player then he is a boxer.

It was a good watch but Seths team might need to slow up a little. They are ready for another step up(top 20 guy) but slowly. He needs 2-3 more fights until he's ready for a top 10 guy.

I doubt Mitchell is going to get much better. Go after Povetkin, hope he comes into the fight out of shape, hope to land a few overhand rights early while hes not prepared, and pray. Thats his best shot, really.

I could tell he was very close to being gassed in that fight, hes lucky Witherspoon folded so quickly.

you have a point there but he is 231lbs & caught seth with a huge right hand...mitchell shows smarts by holding when in trouble & works both the body & head. he also throws power punches nin combinations & is a finisher. he needs to work on a better jab & defence but there is definately something there. i bet the klitschkos will fight him this year before he gets more experience & becomes a threat.

He needs to stay clear of Arreola who would use him for target practice. Arreola clearly takes punches better and hits much harder than Witherspoon. Mitchel is too slow to be a boxer and will never be wrongfully accused of being slick. He is a plodder, simple as that. If you almost get knocked out by a clubfighter, you are not a contender.
