I agree that both are at fault 100%, but I really think if they were negotiating that Pac would get at least 40-60 offer from Floyd. Floyd just said no 50-50. It's not worth dwelling on anyway though.

What will be funny is if Pac-Bradley does like 800K PPV's and Floyd-Cotto does like 1.4-1.5 million. It will be another opponent Floyd out sold Pac with, and he will have almost doubled his PPV total for their next fights. It'll be interesting to hear what people say about then, just to see what everyone says if that happens.
floyds fight should outsell pacs because cotto has a big following. no sense in even discussing it until after both fights. anything can happen and the results whatever they are will change the negotiations. who knows maybe they both lose. neither would be close to the biggest upset in history.

What Arum said was not a fact. It was something that took a life of its own by Floyd fans. Arum said, "We still need to check out if Manny's cut can heal on time for training/sparring". Nothing definite about that statement except for Floyd fans. Right?

Arum mentioned a stadium to generate more money but he also said we can fight on May 5th but Floyd needs to get his own guarantee. Plus, Arum had always wanted this fight in a bigger venue. Again, it was the Floyd fans putting a spin to it as if the fight was dead because of an Arum roadblock.

Manny Pacquiao signed a contract to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing's biggest fight on March 13, a source with knowledge of the meeting told ESPN.com on Friday night.

In 2009, Arum has also received a proposal for a 30,000-seat temporary stadium on the Las Vegas Strip across from the Wynn resort.

The fact was that Floyd guaranteed that the fight was not happening with his "I want all the PPV money"
so pac signed a contract? what happened with that?

Nope, not true. At least he called Arum "a good business man."

What happened? Roadblock #1 happened ..... Floyd wanted OST and more importantly, Floyd and his team ACCUSED Manny of using PEDs ..... that could easily kill it, as it did.

but even back then, Floyd really wanted more than 50/50 .... but Floyd waited it out until Manny agreed with Floyd on roadblock #1.

I also meant like if Floyd-Cotto sells more than Pac-Cotto (1.25 million).

It's a non-issue though, no need to dwell on it.

Ali in his prime (1964-1967) doesn't lose to any HW H2H if I had to be on it.

Pac not leaving Arum is a silly excuse. There's no logic behind it. It just proves that Floyd is not exactly dying to get in the ring with Pac. The biggest motivation of simply proving he's the best is just not there for Floyd.

What if Pac doesn't leave Arum until he retires? Fight never happens. Who do you think people would blame? Arum? Lol. Go ahead and see if you could convince many people three years from now and beyond.
