    Junior middleweight Vanes Martirosyan (32-0, 20KOs) has advised BoxingScene.com that he's ready and willing to face Erislandy Lara (16-1-1, 11KOs) in a WBC final eliminator, but he also prefers to secure some form of a guarantee that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs), the WBC's champion at 154, will face the winner. Alvarez defends his belt at the MGM Grand on May 5th against former three division champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley.

      Agree entirely with Vanes. Vanes vs. Lara should be a hell of a fight, if officially made.

          I disagree. It might be a better fight physically, but if they were each on a PPV by itself, Alvarez-Mosley would have more buys.

                  And i love how Lara is getting his shot. It appears that the organizations and ratings folks recognized his w over Paul Williams despite the robbery.

                      wether your fight with is better does'nt have anything to do with canelo. saul wants mayweather and thats the fight thats going to happen. you worry about lara unless you are already setting it up to duck him like ( angulo)by using the document junk that you won't get. screw you vanes the ducker.

                          I agree with vanes!! him and Lara would be a wayyy better fight!!
                          it's more on a knock on Mosley than canelo
                          Mosley is past his prime and doesn't pull the trigger anymore!

                              I wouldn't be so sure even though Mosely is washed up he still went the distance with Pac and Floyd
