It's right here, Koncz offers 50 mill to Mayweather with the winner getting 55% of PPV with the loser getting 45%: http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/2/1/...-5-boxing-news

But that doesn't mean Floyd could not have called Koncz. Floyd knows damn well that he cannot expect Pac to negotiate without Arum or Koncz. He was just pissing in the wind.

Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Arguello NEVER Let Money Get In The Way!

Ray Leonard always said, "fight and beat the best of the best, and the money will take care of itself". Those above mentioned Legends never let ego, money, percentages get in the way of of making a Super Fight a reality. There's more money in a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight than either would know what to with. Boxing gave these two fights a way of life. Mayweather needs to put his selfish wants and needs aside for the good of the sport, and accept Manny's 45%/45% split offer, and the winner gets the other 10%. Floyd also needs to grow a pair.

Except for you know....not rematching Benitez...waiting almost a decade to fight Hearns a second time...and Hagler used a walker in his ring entrance if I remember correctly.

I agree with you . Why should Floyd have to pay because Pac is letting Arum pimp him? I think 40 million needs to be adjusted but from Pac has to remember, he's negotiating with a free agent so Floyd is only looking in terms of pocket money. Do you think Pac really wanted to turn down the offer? I don't.

Mayweather turned down the 55-45 offer from Top Rank. Apprently he is not too confident of being the one who takes home the 55%, in short, confident of being the winner: http://www.philstar.com/SportsArticl...bCategoryId=69

Don't be a ***ing idiot. Leonard was both INACTIVE and the SMALLER fighter. Thats TWO disadvantages going into the ring with Hagler.

Ricky Hatton was a great fighter, and his fight with Floyd was beyond entertaining. His downfall was not graceful but he deserves credit where credit is due. He embarrassed himself against Manny but honestly that was more him not being prepared and not taking care of himself than anything else.

He gave Floyd a hell of a fight, all Floyd fans have to admit that was an awesome fight. I think him vs. Manny before he lost his '0' and let his personal issues take over would have been a war as well. Not to get all hung up on hypothetical situations though. It is what it is as far as how things really went down.

But I just want to echo the sentiment that Ricky was a great fighter and was always fun to watch. Fighters with that smothering, brawling style always seem to burn out the fastest though.

Even after being sued, He would still come out on top. I'm sure there is some loophole. Pac could allege the Arum is preventing him from whatever legal jargon they have and probably get out of his contract for at least this fight. I think someone did that to Don king. Pac can make this fight and I honestly believe he would do it under Mayweather's terms.
