To me, Floyd needs to stop the JMM 4 from happening as soon as the Cotto fight is over. It's possible Pacquiao would become engrossed with his political and religious life after the JMM 4. I think the man is ready to quit boxing. He's tired of it as we've seen in his recent fights.

You gotta admit that Floyd offering $40 million on a fight which would potentially make around $200 million is outright dumb, to say the least. Pac is not living in a vacuum. He has enough people around to dissuade him from taking that insulting offer, don't you agree? Look at you. You're not even one of Floyd's close associates, yet you care enough to influence Floyd's decision-making process.

Just saying this fight has to happen after their next respective fights. If not, it would be even more difficult to get it on track.

First it was Manny take the test

Now we have Manny take the less

All we know for sure is that Floyd is taking the PiSS

52/48 should make the fight happen, 55/45 to the winner is a good compromise (Manny's counter-offer).
But the point is, this fight will not happen for $40m flat.
        Agree with you on this.

As a hard core "fight" fan, I wish they would do 50/50 and get it on. But most fight fans don't want to take the business aspect into consideration, let alone the devil in disguise Bob Arum....Floyd makes more money than Manny Pacquioa and that is a fact! Manny Pacquioa's total net worth is 26 million dollars and Floyd is offering him damn near double that for one night of work. Forbes said Floyd made 65 million dollars to fight Shane Mosley. How much did Pac make to fight em? From a business standpoint, Floyd is entitled to more based on how the boxing business has been predicated for years.

Floyd, yes. Obviously he wants the fight on his terms. Now we can agree floyd has an elevated sense of self. That said, in principle, I see no reason why he shouldn't set terms. But he seems to be trying to recoup what he lost when the ODH fight sold so well. He needs to let that go if he is in fact doing that.

He works under some just like Manny, the only difference is that Oscar doesn't **** his fighters around as much because he is a former fighter and respects fighters.
Read the ny times article on floyd's business deal and model. I think that will illustrate your errors in this post.

Your right, he doesn't live in a vacum. He refused bith the fair good offer and then the crap one. SO I don't think $40 no ppv is acceptable, but he turned down 50/50 and shouldn't get another shot at it.

                    Is that fair?

Funny how his terms change when Manny agrees to them.

It is almost as he doesn't want to fight Manny.
