I remember the wait on the Hagler Leonard fight, I remember watching with anticipation Leonard with mic in hand in the ring walking about in a suit talking about the big fight then he said that fight would never happen !!

All the people gasped, or maybe the gasped came from me !!

Thang is Hagler still had prime at that time, he had some prime left , with quickness.

When those two finally fought Hagler had lost that prime quickness and it was like he couldn't pull the trigger.

I wanted Hagler to win. When he hesitated after the first twenty seconds I sat back in my chair at a big theater in Atlanta and told my wife its over that Hagler should have come out like he did against "HEARNS" not like he did against Duran,

I stopped reading at "there's still some prime left in both", no there's not. Floyd hasn't been prime since 2007 and Pac hasn't since 2009.

Both are past their prime-still good, similar to where Hagler and Leonard were in 87' when they fought. Marvin was not prime anymore, but he was still really good and still one of the top fighters in the sport hands down. Ray wasn't prime anymore, had layoffs similar to Floyd's, but was still one of the top fighters in the sport. If it happens in 2013, it'll still mean something, but both have to keep winning. If it happens in 2014, ehhhh I don't know. Both would still have to look good and win their fights in clear cut fashion for it to still mean something. By the time 2014 rolls around, one of them could be past it completely, and I can't see Manny fighting in 2014 with his political s**t he does.

99% of the people on this site are bias and non-objective. Just something I've observed. And that goes for both of the fans with love affairs for Mayweather and Pacquiao. Both of their bias fans are full of s**t most of the time.

I agree with that but would go further and say many times All of the folks here are 100 percent bias.

What I said is true. Pac has some prime left,,,,or he did before the JMM fight, he still had speed, this Bradley fight will tell it all, if he was too BUSY to train to get his mental for JMM or if he has fallen from prime.

Jr doesn't move like he used to but still has prime or he wouldn't be as fast as he is.

Hagler lost that prime edge with Leonard

Leonard was still YOUNG and PRIME in age when they fought even though he was not active due to the eye problem

IMO Hagler was the best Middle weight in the last 60 years and I would love to have seen a prime Hagler against SSR

WHat he's talking about are ridiculous double standards posters have. For example, "Floyd cherrypicked his whole career". Well he was with top rank for much of it. If someone responds well "manny cherrypicked since he's been with top rank", the same person says no!
