Should Freddie Roach have taken Mike Tyson up on his offer?

I can't really remember what fight it was but I can remember Mike wanting to help Pacquiao with his training, maybe it was the Hatton fight?

Anyway the more I look at Freddie Roach's fighters is the more I realise that they cannot box on the inside. Someone like Mike would be able to offer them invaluable advice in that department.

Mike wasn't an inside fighter. He was a mid-range fighter. People tend to not realize that.

I'm not going to pretend as though it was something I acknowledged from the start but I will move on from the point. Even though he wasn't an infighter strictly speaking, he could get his offense off, tie the opponent up then get the inside off again. It is not exactly necessary for him to teach the fighters how to be great inside fighter just to teach them how to make their opponent ineffective on the inside.

In the case of Pacquiao he could teach him how to cut the ring off.

No he wasn't. Haha. Why do you think he'd tie up? The only fight I remember him doing good on the inside with is vs. Furgerson.

I think its well known Mike is an avid student of the game with a wealth of knowledge. It would've been interesting to see how effective he would be as a "coach".

If Manny was taught this, he'd be quite scary.
I think Manny following makes a more interesting fight.
