I put maybe because there are so many fighters in history I haven't seen and if you go back 100 years or so ago the rules were different with much more wrestling allowed. Of the modern fighters I have seen Hatton was the worst by far. Pushing, mauling, holding and hitting, just the worst. In England the ref, often Micky Van, let him do what he wanted. I never saw him warned. In the early days he did not fight that way and it was exciting to watch him move side to side and pound the body. Then he turned mauler. Shane Mosley was a bad hugger late in his career and Berto is another big name fighter that huges alot. I don't like huggers.

In the Mayweather fight Ricky had Floyd pinned against the ropes. Ricky reached a hand around Floyd and grabbed a rope an pulled on it to keep Floyd from getting off the ropes. I never saw that move before but I know it's not legal.

I completely forgot about Ruiz. He was horrible and worse than Hatton. If I had remembered him I would have voted no. Hard to remember the huggers when I try to forget about them.

Although it was kind of like tying up but Tyson did it consistently in the 80s. If he wasn't such an entertaining fight then, then people would remember that.

Mayweather turned his back and stuck his body out the ropes to avoid getting hit. Don't see that very often but i know it's not legal.
