Pacquiao would say so, he found Cotto much tougher than Oscar, but both were walks in The Pacman.

Cotto is also not a part-time fighter like Oscar was.

alot of people were on the cotto bandwagon back in 2008 so i'm not counting cotto out i wouldnt say cotto is floyds toughest opponent to date but he's no push over i think cotto will either do better than most people expect, it depends on how floyd comes to fight if he takes no risks cotto will gain confidence as the fight goes on if floyd comes in applying pressure like he did to ortiz putting cotto on the backfoot then i can see cotto getting shut out in like round 8 or 9

I think it's all about relativity, at the time floyd fought oscar he was a small welter weight basically jumping up 2 weight classes to fight. Oscar was still good at the time and has a better chin than cotto and arguably a better boxer. Not saying Cotto isn't good but Floyd is a better puncher now, sits down on his shots more. Floyd isn't prime but, cotto doesn't hold any advantages over Floyd like oscar did.

Oscar performance against Forbes proved how good he was, way way past his best

It's not about that it's a about relativity...Just because a guy looks bad against one guy means nothing, Clottey made cotto look like ****, and manny killed him, yet I'm sure cotto can still beat a fair amount of the competition out there. And Floyd was literally 2 weight classes under, it's no secret Floyd is more solid now. This more of the question if Cotto now fought Oscar of then, would u be comfortable putting your money on Cotto?

Clottey is a very good fighter, Forbes ain't

You really think Forbes would have given a prime Oscar trouble. Oscar would have taking him out in.

And I would put my money on Cotto, Oscar looked past it in his fight with Mayweather, his timing was gone with his right hand and he lacked stamina.

I wouldn't but you're missing the point, point is Cotto doesn't have any physical strengths over Flody like Oscar this fight will come down to skill and skill for skill Cotto just ain't on Floyd level and that's no knock at Cotto
