prime TRinidad vs Quartey at wElter who wins?

who wins? and why didnt this fight happen? i think it would be a wAR. early Quartey would bother him with his jab, but in the sixth or seventh round TIto's power would be too great, and he would Knock out Ike.
they both lost to tha Golden Boi, and Tito destroyed Vargas, while Vargas got tha better of Ike.

    Chin

Ike has much the better chin. The Bazooka would annihialate Trinidad in the second half of the fight!
    Later brother brologs.

IF Quartey makes it to the 2nd half, Quartey's jabs will bother Trinidad, then again it bothers everybody he has fought. Have you seen the majority of the guys that have tested Tito's chin? And Ike's chin ain't solid either. Tito by mid to late rd. K.O. Some of you guys are putting too much into the Winky fight... Winky and Ike are two totally different fighters, Ike's biggest mistake which he would've made against Tito is stand and go toe to toe w/ the Rican(remember we're talking about "Prime" Tito)

quartey has a good chin..but he never fought anybody who hits like trinidad...vargas is the only man who really beat quartey...trinidad could win by UD or this could be william joppy like fight..either way trinidad wins

I beg to differ. On all counts. I think you're entirely wrong. he got dropped against Oba Carr, twice by bother Jose Louis Lopez and De la Hoya, once against Vargas, and by Phillips, too.

Now, Trinidad went down pretty often over the years, but he was never really hurt very badly until Hopkins stopped him. Quartey was hurt and looked in danger in almost all of the fights I mentioned.

Furthermore, with the exception of Vargas (mebbe) none of those guys hit anywhere near as hard as Trinidad could. So no, I don't think you're right about their chins. Trinidad's is better, his hardest punch is harder than Quartey's hardest, and Quartey is more apt to run out of gas in the late rounds (his stamina has always been questionable, don't kid yourself.) Trinidad inside the distance.

But I know that the Bazooka is punching harder than Trinidad, because Oscar (who fought both), is on the record as say that Ike hit him harder than anyone in his whole career. Oscar said there words...."Ike hits like he has concrete bricks in his gloves!"

had oscar not run the entire fight and fought - then he'd a seen that his words hold no merit. he elected to stand and trade w/ ike. dude - could you imagine had he tried to do that w/ tito - el tipo lo mata coño!

Nobody at 147 could take 12 rounds of the Tito left hook, my opinion is Tito ko's Ike after smiling at the first left hook bomb.

He went down twice against Jose Luis Lopez and De La Hoya, but Phillips and Vargas never put him down. The Oba Carr knockdown was incorrectly ruled, as Quartey was hit on the back and a biased ref who was ****ing up the whole night made a very poor decision.

Quartey wins by UD. Trinidad stands right in front of you and tries to walk you down. as soon as Trinidad got set to punch, Quartey would fire that bazooka in his face...over and over and over. when Trinidad would land anything, Quartey would give that "nice try" smile before plastering him with 40 more jabs.
