not at all. goldy's plan is to go after mayweather with whoever. then have kirland to fight on. but molina almost threw a monkey wrench in the plan. everything is back on course because kirkland is injured. vanes is with toprank. he has no business basing who he fights off another promoted fighters status.

If the WBC is mandating a Vanes vs Lara match to make the winner a mandatory to Canelo, than they should have the right have a contractual agreement to fight Canelo within a certain time frame (6 months, 1 or 2 fights, etc). There has been way too many eliminators just to name a mandatory that Canelo probably won't even fulfill. If he unify's against Mayweather/Cotto than a mandatory is even less likely to ever get a title fight.

Why he is not deserving a fight with Canelo, Who to f$k Canelo fought that make him the King? Canelo is a media/WBC/GBP creation that hasn't fought not a prime contender and for those that claiming that he is only 21, then gtfo of the way and vacate the Belt, if you can't defend your crown against the best then you have no right to wear it, although I'll love to see the fight, Vanes is right, why fight another eliminator if Canelo is going to avoid the winner anyway... bind the red one and the winner gets him.
