And the WBC has had three guys fight in "semi-eliminator" bouts that has seemed to go on and on and on for Canelo - James Kirkland, Vanes & Angulo vs Alcine was a "final eliminator" if I'm not mistaken. Damn WBC always makes things impossible to know what's really going on.

Alcine is a very good draw in Canada.

Cool, didn't know that. But it doesn't seem like the type of fight Showtime and HBO would buy. Maybe as an undercard, but I doubt there would be much money in that. Lara vs Vanes seems like a possible main event

the loud mouth sissy vanes knows good and well that canelo's plan is to fight mayweather.for that he is using canelo's name and position to duck lara.the WBC ordered lara vs martyrosian so this is vanes's only counter to duck the fight. canelo is thinking about mosley then mayweather.
