If Roach had been training Hatton to fight Pac, would it've ended any differently?

Just a thought that crossed my mind.

Imo, Hatton could have any trainer in the world, and it still would have ended the same.

Doubtful. Hatton was always too easy to hit, especially against southpaws.

Floyd Sr was a horrible fit for him though.

He didn't even show up on time or go left handed on the mits

Nah, they can have the late eddie futch, ronny shields, roach and more add together to train hatton and he would still be face down twitching just like he was, the fact is he doesnt have a boxing brain, has alway be overrated due to his massive fanbase, in reality he is nothing more than a glorified club fighter..

No, Ricky just wasnt on Pac's level, no matter the trainer.

Mayweather Sr. and Hatton was the worst fighter-trainer matchup ever. He ruined a good thing letting go of Graham and paid the price dearly. I don't think he could have beaten Pacquiao on that night but if that Pacquiao had faced the Hatton that beat down Tszyu, we would have had one awesome scrap on our hands.

Hatton shortened his career through his nutrition. Period.

Doubt it. He wouldn't have listened and walked into that right hook the whole fight then been KOd with the left. Roach..teach defense..to Hatton?

                Get real. lol
