NOW Dawson Says It Was In Defense; 'Bhop Tried To Break His Neck'
Dawson has yet another take on what happened, which tells you Dawson DOESN'T want this fight with Hopkins; Chad is pretty scared. As he should be. Chad has had a LOT to say, his stories keep changing; he's scared. BHop will thoroughly embarrass him. You don't hear Hopkins talking!Comment

He hooked his leg, no 'slight' about it. The only reason it wasn't a full on slam was because he was wearing boxing gloves, so there was no grip and his hand/glove slipped from behind the knee. You can see the force with which he was lifting as the glove pops out.
EDIT: you even see the left hand reach around the back of the knee. It's pretty damning.Last edited by charlieg; 04-23-2012, 04:53 PM.Comment

lmao!! so true!! hop is a legend but he's dirty as they comeSorry Chad, but according to Hopkins fans he is allowed to push, grab, headbutt, low blow, jump on your back, knee you in the crotch, bend you over and f*** you, and basically do whatever he wants because it's "veteran savvy."
But you can't push the guy off when he jumps on you, that's cheating.Comment
That's a straw man argument. Most people are arguing that the end of the fight was caused by a foul - and not that Dawson is more of a cheat than Hopkins, who is well known for his bending of the rules.Sorry Chad, but according to Hopkins fans he is allowed to push, grab, headbutt, low blow, jump on your back, knee you in the crotch, bend you over and f*** you, and basically do whatever he wants because it's "veteran savvy."

Dawson pushed off as retaliation to Hopkins spending a round and a half fouling, including throwing his weight on Dawson's back more than once before the end. If Hopkins doesn't leave his feet to jump on Dawson's back, he doesn't end up on the ground to begin with.Comment
