If you want to say he was faking the injury then fine you can say that but you did in fact slam him. You didnt pull out from the clinch, you pushed off from the clinch and slightly hooked his leg.

He hooked his leg, no 'slight' about it. The only reason it wasn't a full on slam was because he was wearing boxing gloves, so there was no grip and his hand/glove slipped from behind the knee. You can see the force with which he was lifting as the glove pops out.



EDIT: you even see the left hand reach around the back of the knee. It's pretty damning.

That's a straw man argument. Most people are arguing that the end of the fight was caused by a foul - and not that Dawson is more of a cheat than Hopkins, who is well known for his bending of the rules.

That's a straw man argument. Most people are arguing that the end of the fight was caused by a foul - and not that Dawson is more of a cheat than Hopkins, who is well known for his bending of the rules.

Dawson pushed off as retaliation to Hopkins spending a round and a half fouling, including throwing his weight on Dawson's back more than once before the end. If Hopkins doesn't leave his feet to jump on Dawson's back, he doesn't end up on the ground to begin with.
