Kenny does the anchor show for MLB TV. It sucks because he was probably the best and most creditable thing on a national stage boxing has and may ever have.

And Shane-Floyd could have happened in 2005-2006 but Shane's tooth hurt, remember??? That was all Shane. And Floyd fought Shane when he TKO'd Margarito, was the #1 WW, and Top 10 P4P after that anyway.

And Floyd wasn't avoiding Hatton at 140, my god. Hatton wanted no part of Floyd at 140 after he tore Gatti up. They ended up fighting in 2007 anyway when Hatton was #8 P4P and unbeaten still. Oh well.

I'm just saying that Kenny criticizes him for one thing and says he should be doing something else. When he does that something else, Kenny still criticizes him for something again.
That old lying sore tooth thing again eh?

He criticized Floyd for fighting Judah instead of Baldomir, saying Floyd was voiding Baldomir and Hatton. Floyd fought Baldomir later that year, ripped him for that and claimed he was voiding Hatton since Hatton had won a title at 147 now. Floyd fought Hatton was well. Then, scream that Floyd should be fighting Shane Mosley, who Floyd also fought.

            The guy is a moron.
There was nothing wrong with what he said at the time he said it. Why was Floyd fighting Judah? It was a legit question. And then why fight lightweight JMM? Im pretty sure he gave him credit for fighting the guys he was asking about

if you had any common sense, you'd know Shane couldnt just come out and say:

''no, i cant fight Mayweather right now, because my boss Oscar wants him first.''

besides ****ing 2006, Shane was at 54.....you know who was fighting at welterwight back then that Floyd didnt fight? thats right, Antonio Margarito...

Floyd is great and all, but seriously, the schedule in which he has fought his biggest fights since 06 is suspect...06 taking Judah instead of getting the Baldomir **** over with from the get go. 07 was a superstar making year, so good on him, but then retiring instead of fighting the guys that were making noise at welter....Marquez at 47....Shane was the man, but lets not pretend he wasnt inactive and has looked like **** ever since...(and in fact has only looked good in a win once in 4 years)

There was nothing wrong with it, even though Judah was still a solid win. The problem was that he criticized Floyd for not fighting Baldomir but then criticized him again for fighting Baldomir later that fall, and said "Why don't you fight Ricky Hatton, he just won a title at 147, your weight class". And I agree about Marquez, it was an ehhhhh fight going in, not a good pick. Floyd gets some credit though for whupping him there, because JMM just arguably beat Pac at the same weight.

But he told Floyd to fight Shane Mosley and he did. It's just like one guy after the other that Floyd is ducking with Brian Kenny, that's all. The worst was criticizing him for not fighting Baldomir but then criticizing him for fighting Baldomir.

What did he say in regards to criticising Baldomir? Ive never seen that. Got a link?

Boxing is about the next guy, I dont see whats wrong in saying "Why dont you fight this guy next?". Floyd fans get very defensive over this ****, I dont think he ever used the term "ducking", just asked legit questions and Floyd lost his ****.

I only brought up Shane because another poster said it took years for Floyd to fight Shane, but that wasn't his fault. That's all I was saying about that. I absolutely agree with Floyd should have just fought Baldy in April 2006 instead. And I've always said out all the fights Floyd "avoided", I thought Margarito in Late 2006 was the only one with a legit claim to Mayweather not taking that fight. I'm not sure why he didn't, it won't hurt his legacy or anything, maybe it was because he knew he would fight Oscar in may 2007 and didn't want to fight him, I don't know. You'd have to task Floyd.

Marquez at 144 was bulls**t when it happened. However given the fact that Marquez just arguably beat Pac at the same weight, Floyd should get his props for whupping Marquez' a$$ there. Marquez proved he could fight there.

And Yes, Shane was past his prime. But still, everyone and their brother was calling for that fight, and Arum & Roach both said they thought Floyd wouldn't fight him because it was too much of a risk. People really Monday Morning Quarterbacked that fight. They said they'd give him full credit if he fought Mosley and that if he didn't fight Mosley that he should just reitre. He fought him, and hardly anyone gives him his just for that fight.

But the only reason I brought up Mosley in the first place was because another guy said Floyd took a long time to fight him, but that wasn't Floyd's fault.
