That was a pretty poor opponent. Pretty they could have done better. Golden Boy found a fighter that would literally run away from Moreno. That's very interesting matchmaking.
lol...how do u feel about moreno being with gbp?

Agbeko is still better than a lot of dudes out there. I would say only Mares, Rigo, Donaire, Nishioka, and Moreno are better than him right now at 118 and 122.

Maybe no expected for him to literally run, but it was expected of how much of a mismatch on paper this was.

Moreno is the true definition of the sweet science in these modern times that many lack the skills the old timers displayed, love the guy's style.

I like it because he's on Network TV now. Since signing with Golden to fights that showcase what he can do and one was against a name opponent like Vic. And, it's done it's job because now more people are recognizing Moreno. They brought him to Texas, where I drove 8 hours to watch him live in person last night. So that's what I like.

But, I don't know what they going to do with him. Golden Boy because I think they still are a young promotional company are pretty bad at matchmaking. So that's something that worries me that I don't like about them. And, I think their main focus is Mares. So I see them protecting Mares and not really letting him near Moreno.

I don't know, right now it's cool. But, some of their matchmaking it just I got a feeling that they won't match him up right and people would start complain about Moreno level of comp he's facing. But, as of right now I like it I'm just iffy still.

Correct me if I'm wrong good sir, but wouldn't it make sense for Golden Boy to match Moreno with fellow stablemate Mares? Or am I missing something here....

Mares could lose that O and lose some marketability.

Better to build to a showdown after they win titles.

I'd rather them just fight right now.

It probably doesn't make sense for Golden Boy now. Because, they have invested more in Mares than Moreno. It would make sense for Moreno to do it now. Don't think it would make sense for Mares to do it now.

What was Golden Boy and Moreno contract? Was it a 4 fight deal?

I knew he'd back him and beat the **** out of him, basically.

De La Mora's not on his level.

Looking at it from GB's point of view.

Of course I want them to fight right now.
