Martinez is getting old and to me its showing already. If Lara is good prepared he could beat Martinez, he has skills and talent. Hes an complete fighter who had an off-night against Molina, i think he underestimated Molina and was not well trained. But he made that clear already in the Williams-fight with an excellent performance, in a fight that was the biggest robbery 2011.

It was only a Ronald Hearns tune-up but Lara looked like he got back right where he left off whupping Paul Williams. I'd like to see Lara vs. Trout if Trout beats Delvin Rodriguez. Trout has called out Lara before and when Lara called him on it, you heard nothing from Trout anymore. I want to like Austin Trout, being from El Paso and fighting out of New Mexico/4Corners, but I just can't. He should fight Lara.

Sergio still looks fresh and quick, just like he did in 2009-2010, but it's only a matter of time. Once Roy's speed faded, his short comings were there for everyone to see, and he got sparked several times once his speed left him. Once Sergio really actually loses a big step in speed, his short comings will be there for everyone to see. Until then, Sergio still has the speed and skill to beat anyone from 154-160 though. The only guy I'd give a serious shot to really beat Sergio is Lara though.

I'll bet the bank that trout beats Lara. Trout is a good fighter. IMO he is the best at 154. Superstars like Cotto & Canelo just hog all the glory. But I'd pick Trout to ud Cotto & thoroughly outclass Canelo right now.

Lara would certainly be a step up in class compared to Martinez' his last two opponents.

I think Martinez would win by KO or UD whether Lara fights at a slow pace or fast pace Martinez has the advantage

You are a very good baseball fan, Lara has no defense? The first thing that they teach those kids back in Cuba is defense, and definitively a World amateur Champ from Cuba has it...
