Chavez Jr. isn't the best in boxing but there's one thing for sure, get in the ring at 150'ish pounds and let Chavez come in at 180+ and hit you to the body. You won't forget what that feels like. If you watch him fight when he's in the proper shape he acutally is a decent boxer and has a really good jab.

    Too big.

Edit- Just read Floyd is willing to move up past 154.

I wont argue against an L, I wont argue against it being one sided, I wont argue against a beat down, but Floyd will finish the fight. Chavez is not good enough or powerful enough to wreck Floyd with one shot so it would have to be a relentless beating. Even if Floyd is down like 7-2 after 9, I see Floyd still doing enough to last and not get KO.

Floyd would get 30' ring stipulation in the contract and throw one punch at a time. Then maybe he'd win.

In a 20' ring he gets roughed up and stopped by the bigger man. As long as Chavez Jr. goes in with a prime-Margarito mindset he'll win. Eat punches and throw bunches.

Chavez Jr is actually kinda underrated around here
he's rightfully bashed for avoiding Martinez
but not like the guy can't fight
too damn big for Floyd at MW
he'd definitely KO him, 160 is too much for Floyd

of course floyd is more skilled but the size difference would be to much for floyd.

This. Some of us do give Jr props but just overall dont like his mindset and sense of entitlement...and the duckage is fierce. He does bring it fight night though and he's going to be a tough out for anyone barring a KO. Even Martinez going to have a hard time with the size and lets not act like it wont be difficult to win a decision against him. He's not powerful, but like Rios and Marg he'll just wear your ass out.

I think Floyd saying he'll move up is probably a jab to make hype for a Martinez bout.

Jr wont stop Floyd...but I dont see Floyd winning a decision on him. Jr will just physically grab him and throw him in a corner
