Mayweather vs Chavez Jr. at MW Right Now

how would it play out? I think everyone will agree that Floyd is better but Junior will have 30 pounds on him in the ring and I get the sense that everyone is feelin a lil bit better about Chavez then they did a year ago.

P4P the fight is not in question but could youth, size, and style give Chavez the edge or make it very close. Dont say you have to wait to see the Cotto fight either. That would be too easy to make a decision then. Just right now how do you think it would play out

I would bet real money that Chavez jr stops him. Of course pfp Floyd is more skilled. However in reality, Chavez is just too big. Unless of course a ref can be found that won't allow Chavez to body Floyd. Or touch him in any way outside of leather to skin.

I don't even think Floyd can beat Erislandy Lara base on size alone. I know Lara is a small guy too, but Lara is fighting and have the body of a MW. Floyd is at heart a lightweight.

There is weight divisions for a reason.

Erislandy Lara vs Jr I say 70-30 in favor of Lara

Floyd Mayweather vs Jr I say 99-1 in favor of Jr

Jr will walk down this Floyd like a ***ing bug

IDK about that with Lara. Im a huge fan but he did go life & death with Molina. The Williams fight was a good showing but weve seen Sergio and even Quintana do better. Lara being a Southpaw gives him a shot but he's not big enough for me to pick him over Floyd. I dont think he's ready for that just yet

Chavez will literally walk through all of Floyd's punches and bully him on the inside every round.

Chavez isn't great, but he's a walking light heavyweight who can punch and for the most part can take a punch. Floyd's power at Welter isn't as prominent as the lower weights and I don't think it'll be very present against Cotto more than simply being accurate. At some point, reality does set in.
