    Boxers with children.

What do you think goes through their minds when they get beaten to a pulp in front of their children? Like When Miguel getting broken down in front of his family against Margarito.

When I spoke to my Dad he said one of the reasons he didn't continue boxing is because he always intended to have children, along with the health risk he said he would have been too prideful to deal with any potential loss.

It is one of the reasons why I usually have a lot of respect for people who step in the ring as they're putting more than just their health on the line.

My father was a kickboxing champion and I remember going to his fights as a kid and it was hard to watch when I was younger. I remember when he won his first world title and it was a brutal back and forth fight that was hard to watch. My little brother was about 6 and I was 8 at the time of the fight and I can remember me and my brother crying during and after the fight even though he won. Watching your father in a very tough fight is very hard to watch as a kid. Once I was about 13 it became a lot easier to deal with. I don't think a fighter should have his children ring side until they are at least teens in my opinion.

If I was a pro fighter I'd do like Marquez and leave my wife and kids at home on fight night. Don't wanna scar them for life in case something bad happens.

That's gotta be weird best case to scary worse case to view as a kid. I think its probably best for all parties to leave the kids if not the wife at home.

Well Seth Mitchell talked about this in a interview I just read.

He said that he do not like bringing kids to fights because of the chance there will be a bloody war. I brings up very very good points, that kids might be traumitized because of it.

Seth Mitchell btw is still working AND boxing. *** this guy is the real deal.

                You should ask Sergio Martinez...
Oh wait! He doesn't have kids.
When I think about it he doesn't even have a wife....
                Or a girlfriend....
                And he's 37 years old.....
And he lives in the same house as another man....

                ops my bad

if i was a fighter no way i would have my kids ringside. if something terrible was to happen i wouldn't want my kids to be there seeing the whole thing unfold in front of their eyes
