So let me get this, he struggled with Molina, we all know, which is in the past, but now you agreed that he will beat Molina and fighting Martinez will be bad for him, then I don't see why bringing Molina's fight (I'm almost sure you agreed Lara beats Molina now) has any input on a Lara-Martinez fight, let me say this, while Martinez is a heck of an athlete, Lara is a heck of a boxer, actually Lara beat Williams easier than Martinez-PW first fight and I only can dream what a second fight with Williams will look like, I suggest that you expand your explanation because "is not gonna end up well for him" doesn't show anything, and if past fights suggest anything is that SM is losing some speed, Lara is twice the fighter Macklin and Barker put together, is he going to win, I don't know I hope he does, but what I'm sure is that he ain't taking a beating...

Lara didn't take significant punishment versus P. Will. The hematoma on Erislandy's head was caused by a clash of heads, not a punch.

So you are saying that Williams fist did that to Lara? Because if you are saying that u are the one making $h1t up, then by you way of reasoning Lara beat up on Williams because Martinez knock him out, but he did look good his last time out, all the credit to Martinez, he is the one that pave the way for Lara right, then why not fight him if he so easy to beat?

They just say whatever comes to their tiny minds, they don't give any logical explanation, just "is going to be bad for EL or don't make $h1t up", I'm all for this fight and I'll enjoy no matter the outcome...

Lara is good fighter he's technically good as are the majority of cubans. However, I believe he's being over rated due to the Williams fight. Martinez would be a step too far at 160.

but........he beat Hearns clearly he's ready for the top P4P Middleweight champion of the world

You can say nobody between 154-160 is ready for Martinez. You can say Martinez is a step up to far for everyone in those two divisions really. But Martinez has to fight someone. Lara is just as qualified, if not more qualified than anyone else I think. In fact, I give Lara a better chance than anyone else from 154 and 160 to beat Martinez. He has the style to give Martinez lots of problems. I don't actually think he can beat Martinez, but I don't think anyone else has a particularly better chance.

My only gripes with the match up is the very likely styles clash. But I actually feel like Lara has been a bit more aggressive lately so maybe it won't be as bad as I'm thinking.

Lara is a good boxer but he simply has a straight left, no other dimensions. Sergio would pick him to pieces and I even think Canelo would beat him. People love to hate on the ginger but that kid is going to be the one to make it to the top out of all these other "prospects".....he has what it takes. And I think the come forward style of canelo's is made for Lara straight left, he will never c the 12 round against Lara, too much of everything, speed, power, great technician, alots of experience and he is being hit flush a couple of times and hasn't blink, the day that Canelo fights an elite fighter there goes that 0. IMO

PS. Lara is a natural 147-154, Williams has over 15 lbs fight night I didn't c PW pushing Lara around, so please feel free to elaborate on that "Lara is too small"
