Well said Trinidad, he's so analytical I can't believe it.

wtf are u talking about dude Cotto was gassing in his last fight just before it was stopped from what I saw, sure Floyd is not as fast as he was when he was 21, but he is still a whole lot quicker than Cotto! I've been following Cotto's camp and I see that his trainer is focusing a lot more on speed and I imagine Cotto will come in much lighter than he did for the Marg fight, but I think it may just end up taking away from Cotto's punching power a bit which he will need if he wants to defeat Floyd, Thats what happen with Berto when he got with Conte and couldn't take out Zavec properly, it's really not all about speed because Cotto will never be as fast or become a better boxer than Floyd overnight, he needs to take him out like Mosley almost did, but finish him...

Damn, cant believe Trindad is hating on his countryman Cotto. I remember watching an old interview on youtube were Cotto had Trinidad ranked top 3 P.R. fighters of all time behind Gomez and Ortiz.

Floyd doesn't overwhelm guys with speed, it's more timing, precision and making guys question their abilities; second guess themselves. I know he overwhelmed Ortiz in the fourth round, but we rarely ever see Floyd put his punches together like that, you would think Tito is talking about a Jr WW Floyd. Floyd will dominate though, but overwhelming Cotto with his speed, I don't know .

If Floyd hasn't over trained, which is possible at his age and the way he trains, then I fully expect him to stop Cotto on the 5th, and it will look a lot like the Bruseles fight mostly body work..

Pedro Diaz is taking care of Cotto. He seems to convert Cotto once again an elite fighter. Hell, Cotto is better now than before the 2008 Margarito fight. He is not as agresive as he was those days, but he has now a much improved stamina and gameplan thanks to Diaz, that trainer is what Cotto needed to readjust his career and is working to the perfection

The way it sound in spanish is a bit different than what it sounds in english. Tito is not disrespecting Cotto at all. Tito is giving an honest opinion. Ever since the Pac fight, Tito have been complementing Cotto more than before and what it appear to be jealousy from the beginning is not there anymore.

From what I've read is that he is already peaking so Roger has him taking time off from the gym. So we will see...

This was what I was thinking that the true feelings of what he was sayin got lost in translation. I took it as Tito just giving an honest opinion.
