Someone will post the Benn video but Cotto never really convinced at 140 whereas Hatton dominated. Close fight but I think Hatton wins a UD. Cotto wins at 147 tho, more physicality.

This been discussed so many times. So it really doesnt matter. However, I will like to know how Hatton dominated at 140. Other than 35 years old Kostya, who he beat that make him so good by your standards. Phillips? Oliviera? Cotto win over Corley, Torres and Paulie were as good as those two. I dont see the dominance that you are talking about.

Cotto takes it. Hatton's best years were at 140, but I think Cotto would've busted him up down the stretch. Cotto even at 140lbs was a patient fighter.

You probably a boxrec type of fan. Buddy McGirt stopped the fight. Paulie was beaten worst by Cotto when he was undefeated.

Hatton never really tired down the stretch though, Mayweather fight was the exception not the rule. Also as shown v Margarito I, Cotto doesn't cope well with inside fighters or at least didn't. I'm a fan of both boxers but I don't think Ricky lets Cotto breathe. At 147 it would be tougher for Hatton, would probably look more like the Collazo fight.

yeah i saw his trainer stop the fight but to be honest it looked like Hatton was going to TKO/KO him
