I've said it before and i'll say it again, size does not matter. I've gone in to it with a long post explaining it.

But in this case I think Ward may beat Floyd, cause it's just not size difference, Ward is a skilled, slick, elusive, defensive fighter, not better than Floyd though. Ward's attributes will matter because of his skill, being tall, having about the same reach as Floyd, and being bigger than Floyd will all probably equal a win.

A Julio Cesar Chavez Jr weighing 180lbs would get his ass handed to him for 12 rounds by a 150lbs Floyd Mayweather. But a 180lbs Andre Ward, would most likely beat the same 150lbs Floyd Mayweather. IMO.

nah, Ward beats Mayweather if he's a WW unless FMJ has a ref to pull Ward off him (kinda like the ref pulled Ruiz off Jones )

not like you to resort to ad hominem Dan. What's wrong, can't refute the point? besides I'm not the first in the thread to point out size isn't everything.

More importantly, and I'm not sure why you've overlooked it, but Ward is an inside fighter. Maybe if Luis Pabon or Joe Cortez was reffing FMJ would have a shot otherwise Ward dominates him inside.

Are people actually seriously discussing Floyd vs Ward?

Hatton put his hands down and walked in a straight line, directly into Floyds left hook.

              Let it go.

Not true. P Will is a pretty 'skilled' fighter. Lara schooled him and got robbed. If P will the 'big skilled guy' fight Lara 10 times, Lara will beat the **** out of P WILL 9 out of 10 times, the 10th time he get robbed.

Where does my post mention Hatton? I like how you overlooked the ref in Ruiz v Jones though

Anyone who thinks the ref had anything to do with Jones-Ruiz is an ill-competant person and cannot be trusted.
