It was a close fight, its only because fools like you dont know have to distinguish between total domination and a close fight.
If it was Marquez that had mannys status and was expected to blow out pac idiots would be saying the same thing that manny got robbed.
Damm the ******ity I come across thise forums is hard to swallow sometimesComment

The majority of the "fans" on these forums are ignorant. They only see the "post-Mayweather-Pacquiao" Pacquiao, the guy that only fights Mayweather leftovers etc.
The guy that was a world champion at 19 at 112lbs and fought his way through the ranks and weights, going toe to toe with some of the greatest fighters of his era in multiple fights - Morales, Barrera, Marquez - is not the boxer most "fans" here are familiar with. They're too busy sucking on the Mayweather teet, hoping that they, one day, can be just like him.
This is the problem with the boxing scene (pardon the pun), the majority are Americans who don't know that there is a world outside of the states. They know their American heroes, and believe what their American heroes say.
Put another way; if Manny Pacquiao was American - humble, religious, 8 division world champion, came from abject poverty, never says a bad word about anyone, works hard, has overcome a lack of education to become a politician, and generally is admired by everybody - can you imagine the effusive praise he would receive around here? Same thing goes for the Klitschkos.
Everybody has haters, and the combative nature of boxing means that fans will always clash, but some of the discourse is so ignorant it is irritating.Comment

I thought that it was a robbery, because I didn't have any outside interference blurring my vision like a lot of people. Don't let the HBO commentators fool you. Watch it without the biased commentary and i'm pretty sure that you will have JMM winning at least 8 rounds. Marquez definitely lost round 12 but he didn't "take off" round 11. It really doesn't matter anyway because I, and the vast majority of boxing writers and fans think that Marquez should have won despite losing the last round. He completely dominated the first 8 or 9 rounds.
Marquez-Pacquiao 3 really wasn't my major point with that post. I think Bradley is going to make Pacquiao look bad simply because he is a live opponent and Manny doesn't fight many live opponents for a reason. My overall point is that given what happened in Abril-Rios, the way Abril arguably won every single round and still lost the decision, I can't see any way possible that Bradley gets a decision against Pacquiao, who is Arum's crown ***el. The only way that Bradley wins this fight is by knockout and I don't see him being able to do that. His power is very average. I get the feeling that he is going to try and fight like Marquez, win the fight but not as convincingly as Marquez did, and lose a controversial decision.Last edited by JK1700; 04-19-2012, 08:37 AM.Comment

At first I wasn't too excited about this fight but the more I think about what Bradley brings to the ring and Bradley's status as arguably the best at 140 the more hyped im getting for this one. I think Pac will win but Bradley is coming to fight and win....Also im so tired of hearing how Marquez was robbed in the third fight when it was just a close fight with a lot of rounds that could have easily gone either way. I thought Pac just edged it out but I wouldnt argue with a draw.Comment

I'm not sure that he can.
He hasn't fought anyone who fights like Pacquaio or in Pacquaio's league.Comment
