Why do people keep talking about Cotto's power as if he's Tito Trinidad? He has better than average pop. But by no means does Mayweather have to be fearful of walking into something that's that's gonna end his night.

yup so true, Cotto has good power but not that type of power that's going to hurt you with one shot. He needs to follow up with the power shots on floyd and I don't see that happening without him receiving punishment in return, and also Floyd will be blocking most counters. Mosley I think had the best shot at knocking out Floyd when he did hurt him, because he puts his whole weight in to that hook, something Cotto dosen't have in his arsenal.

Cotto will not land anything effective. He is going to try to out box Floyd and pay dearly. Cotto can be pressured and his punch taken away from him. Margarito 1 & 2, Cotto couldn't and didn't land any significant body punches. Floyd is just more technical and adjusts under any pressure. Cotto is going to lose.

If Cotto and Mayweather fought five years ago, Cotto would lose.
If they fight five years into the future Cotto would still lose.
They fighting May 5th - Cotto is going to lose.

The thing that makes Mayweather so good is that he never gets hit with more than a single punches at a time. I've seen him visably buzzed three times, and during those ***** street moments, he never took another flush shot. That's defense my friend. Even the overhand right Mosley landed after the crushing straight right was basically bounced off the top of Mayweather's head, off target. If that overhand right had been on target, Money hits the deck.

your right the overhand right is what i meant, not the hook, just thought that though. but no matter cotto don't follow though with his whole weight behind him when throwing his power shots. yes Maymeather did get buckled by Mosley, he just didn't go down, and he was hurt, look at the fight my friend. Maymeather did get hurt, you could see it on hes face, he graded mosley for dear life, but he recovered becuse the bell rang, then thats when floyd started to box mosely and fight his fight, not Mosley's.

Because he talks **** and I told him I would embarrass him with his ******ity.. However he was banned (even though I warned him), yet I will still keep the quote as it is a good laugh. I had a few other options to quote from more respectable posters but I like seeing bombs quote.
