Really? Some of you are mad at SRL for being ambivalent in his sports coverage? Think about SRL's Greatest Hits on ESPN Classic, color commentary he did for fights, etc... He has always come across as an even-keeled unbiased reporter for almost his entire post-boxing career. I'll always admire him as a fighter, just to step between those ropes is something to respect. But Ray has always been a media whore, a smiling face fraud.
He never takes a stand on anything that may cause debate or friction, especially things concerning Manny and Floyd.
I just watched that "Baby gloved" interview he did with Manny, the fans of boxing want to know things other than that "gobble slurp" shyt.

I do give Ray some credit, the first question he asked (The one about maintaining a smile).
Ray knows what its like to fake it for the camera, but he let Manny off the hook.
