Being who he is and what he's done for/in this sport, seeing how boxing has changed but you say nothing?
Ray should be able to stand and say how he feels about things, and nobody can say shyt. But Ray seems afraid to fall out of good standings with the casual, while he leaves the hardcore in limbo.
I wasn't looking for PED questions, just something that puts these guys on the back foot. Ask why things are the way they are, and give the fighters a chance to clear the stale air.
And even if you get no answer, the question was asked.
Yes Ray is a candy ass, only a man will understand my point

Respect the fighter, but just as you I hate the facade....
I mean to me, the pacquiao thing was just water under a bridge... When he came and stated someone played in his ass..............
"Leonard writes that when the coach accompanied him as a 15-year-old and another young fighter to a boxing event in Utica, N.Y., in 1971, he had the teenagers take a bath in a tub of hot water and Epsom salts while he sat on the other side of the bathroom. They suspected “something a bit inappropriate” was occurring but did not want to question a strong male authority figure.
A FIGHTER NOT QUESTIONING AUTHORITY??
Several years later, Leonard describes sitting in a car in a deserted parking lot across from a recreation center, listening intently as the same coach, said to be in his late 40s, explained how much a gold medal at the 1976 Olympics would mean to his future.
Leonard was flattered, filled with hope, as any young athlete would be. But he writes: “Before I knew it, he had unzipped my pants and put his hand, then mouth, on an area that has haunted me for life. I didn’t scream. I didn’t look at him. I just opened the door and ran.”
Was this after the mouth touched his junk or before?? I mean how can someone unzip your pants and you not even look at them like what the hell is going on??? The they touch then they put their mouth on your junk, and you dont even say anything???? Did he get an new coach????
I CALL SHENANIGANS!!!
This was a childhood hero of mine.... Love him as a fighter, bought his gloves, posters the whole 9. but he should have really fought when it counted in that goddamn parking lot across from the recreation center... When I read that I was like is this true or is this to sell goddamn books???
So he was basically asking for it

He never takes a stand on anything that may cause debate or friction, especially things concerning Manny and Floyd.
I just watched that "Baby gloved" interview he did with Manny, the fans of boxing want to know things other than that "gobble slurp" shyt.
I do give Ray some credit, the first question he asked (The one about maintaining a smile).
Ray knows what its like to fake it for the camera, but he let Manny off the hook.
Its sick how this so called "legend of boxing" has no balls at all. He's still shucking and bowing to stay in good favor with what's popular.
I pray I live to see the day when someone stands in the middle, treat these fighters like fighters not 3rd grade sissies that need to be pampered.
Ask the hardline questions, get the answers to the headlines, the answers to the shyt we all debate on.
I miss Howard Cosell.

Now .. imagine Srl asking Floyd, " Do you really want to fight Pac?" What do u think will be the answer? or excuses?
Here: pick one:
-take the test!
-take $40M flat fee
-I dont want to get hurt.
-My health is more important to me!

Ray Leonard has 100% of my respect as a fighter. In some ways, I think the guy is actually underrated in terms of his career accomplishments and where he falls on ATG lists. With that said, I share many of the same sentiments as the thread starter and others (haven't seen the Pacquiao interview though). He comes across as fake as De La Hoya, and like Oscar, I put zero stock in anything that comes out the guy's mouth.
